Alrighty. This past week has been very busy, but it is over and I can talk about it. Here are a few things I need to blog about:

Pumpkin Carving 2012

We carved pumpkins at Katie's house this weekend. It is always fun to get together, eat chili and watch the kids (and some adults) get creative with their pumpkins.

There isn't anything Justin and I love more than spending time with family.

Zero Expectations

Don't expect to be writing to many blogs for the next week. I have been super busy and it doesn't look like it's going to ease up for a bit. I would like to say however that I had an awesome time teaching art to Dax's class.  I was surprised that at least half the class knew who Edvard Munch was and what his famous painting was called. The kids had a great time painting,were pretty proud of their creations and some of them were quite talented. Makes me wonder what I was like in 3rd grade.

I even managed not to embarrass Dax!

Dear boys,

I promise I will read to you one chapter of a book, each night we are home together. You and your brother can pick the book and we'll read it until it's done. I also promise there will be more evenings like tonight, when we can sit around and just talk about stuff. It was a good way to end a day.
