Disneyland has the best of everything. My favorite treat was a caramel apple. A green, juicy, tart apple covered in caramel from heaven. Yum...Did you know that carmel and caramel are not the same thing?. One morning I stopped for a latte at one of my favorite bakeries. I asked them to add carmel to my coffee. The gal looked at me and said, "You mean caramel, right?" Uh, yes, yes I did... I learned something new that day.
Thankfully, I knew better than to make the same mistake when I got my apple.
It's confusing, because you don't call them caramel apples, you call them carmel apples! Oh well, potato-potahto, tomato-tomahto...
